I am selling my iPhone 3G. It’s black with a capacity of 8 GB. The button to silence the phone doesn’t work. Actually, it does work; it’s just that the metallic cap that serves as a button fell off. Other than that, all is fine.

The phone is locked to Rogers. For those who don’t know what that means, it means that you can only use it with Rogers as your carrier. However, you don’t have to sign for a contract. If you are already with Rogers, all you need to do is subscribe to a data plan and put in your SIM card and you’re good to go. A data plan is strongly recommended because as far as I know, there’s no way to turn off data consumption on this device, and an iPhone without capacity to use data is a crippled iPhone.

The OS installed is 3.1.3. I advise not to upgrade to iOS4 since that version is slow as hell on the iPhone 3G.
